Implementation Management
Based on our 5 best practices for successful implementation, our staff of certified Implementation Consultants will customize a year-long plan for you that includes:
- On-site implementation planning meeting
- On-site review of your progress, including implementation strategies for continued success
- A summative review of your Fast ForWord® or Scientific Learning Reading Assistant™ product implementation at year-end including creating a plan for your on-going use of the Scientific Learning family of products
On-site Product Training
Our professional product training will help you better understand how the power of these products unlock a student's potential. In addition you will learn how to:
- Create a successful implementation
- Understand and use appropriate initial intervention strategies
- Understand the selection criteria for students for Fast ForWord or Reading Assistant software use
- Create schedules for student use of Scientific Learning products
- Effectively use the support resources
Online Product Training: Virtual Academy
Virtual Academy is a curriculum of online, self-paced instructional modules that train you to use our products to their full potential. The topics include:
- Getting Started with Fast ForWord Products. This is a 4-hour course that introduces the Fast ForWord products and best practices for implementing them.
- The First 6 Weeks: Getting the Most from Fast ForWord Software. Each week, 5-7 topics are presented in the form of case study or “how to” movie clips lasting 4-7 minutes. Topics such as lab practices, effective use of resources, and Progress Tracker reports are introduced Week 1 and continue to be reviewed and expanded on through the weeks.
- Getting Started with Reading Assistant: A series of four online trainings that focus on the “How To” and best practices of using Reading Assistant software.
On-site Consulting
Consultative visits in combination with User Group meetings will increase product knowledge, enhance student's performance and help bring about positive systemic change in your organization. The benefits of attending these sessions include:
- Modeling and coaching for lab coaches, teachers and administrators to achieve best results
- Working directly with your Scientific Learning implementation consultant to review student data, including suggestions for next steps
- Learning how to motivate your students and how to set up a rewards program
- Understanding the power of the automatic analysis, diagnostic and prescriptive information contained in the Scientific Learning Progress Tracker system
The "We Care" team also offers you professional development in the areas of:
- Best Practices for successful implementation
- Strategies for achieving results with students, including built-in motivation and intervention techniques
- Brain science and its relevance to the student brain
- Data interpretation and evaluation
Technical Management
Because technology is the only effective way to deliver Scientific Learning product benefits to your students, our Technical Managers will work directly with your school or district coordinator to facilitate a successful installation that will have your students up and running quickly and smoothly.

Our Support Team is available to answer your instructional and technical questions by phone, 5am - 5pm PST Monday through Friday. In addition, you'll have access to Customer Connect, our online support venue, for seminars and other continuous learning offerings.
